I think this is a great story for children who have difficulty making friends and who find themselves getting angry with their lives. Toad Frog is a young girl with issues. Being given such an awful name by her parents is only one of the things that makes her cross. She is presented with a journal but will need to believe in magic and perhaps herself too, if she wants things to change.
Kerie Boshka has written a lively magical tale that will inspire children like Toad Frog and will help them to turn their lives around. There are many lessons to be learnt and adults may learn a thing or two as well.
The illustrations and storyline will appeal to children ages 6+
